Ayrumi (Rumi) Fischer
Age: 15
Race: Human/Other
Description: Ayrumi is a petite girl who stands at 5'2" and weighs close to 112 pounds. She has wavy, shoulder length, honey blonde hair. She usually wears a simple white dress with puffs at the sleeves and brown leather boots. In her ear she wears a golden earring that belonged to her mother. She has pointed ears, due to her other race.
Magic Type: Enchantment - Currently Ayrumi has mastered the art of creating charms. She isn't quite sure what else she can do yet.
Magic Learned:
Bless - Can bless an item permanently. Can temporarily bless an individual. A blessing brings good luck.
Future Prediction: To become one of the most renowned pirates that ever sailed the seas.
Personality: Ayrumi is headstrong and determined, but she is soft-spoken due to her lack of people skills. She likes to do things on her own and doesn't like to accept the help of others, though she often ends up caving in the end. Sometimes she can be quick-tempered, has the habit of jumping to conclusions, making her terrible at misunderstandings and sometimes frustratingly dense. She prefers to spend her time with plant life and animals than with humans.
History: Ayrumi was born to a human sailor and to a woman of unknown origin. Her father, a man who shipped cargo, mail, and other goods between the islands of Yuzelle, met her when he was forced to run ashore somewhere along the coast near Leuniel, between the forest and the desert, due to a storm.
Her mother appeared to be of Elven race (though she never confirmed it) and had stolen away on her father's ship when he had again set sail. He ended up falling in love with the little stowaway and Ayrumi was born a year and six months later.
When Ayrumi was two, her mother suddenly disappeared while they were docked at an island port. The only evidence left behind was a pool of blood on the ship's deck, leaving Ayrumi's father to believe she had been murdered. Ayrumi had inherited her looks and the ability to use magic from her mother. She had learned some of the basics from books her father had bought her, but without her mother she never learned in full how to use her powers.
Ayrumi's father finally pressured her into attending the academy, convincing her that it would be best for her upbringing. Ayrumi was never a social person. She'd spend weeks out at sea with her father, making runs, and never really had the chance to make friends and be a normal child.
When she arrived at the academy, she had only high hopes. But upon visiting the Seer for her first time, her hopes were dashed. She was told she was destined to live the life of a pirate. A common criminal was how she saw it. It was a hard fate to believe. How could she, so quiet and afraid to voice her opinions, become a pirate? Even more disturbing, her mother's death was assumed to be caused by none other than pirates. She's determined to defy this fate, by any means necessary.
